So, I just had this dream where we were at this house in Georgia and it started snowing, so I was showing everyone how to make snowmen. Because they just didn't know how.
So then we went inside and it was me and Bethany and Nikki and Tamtu, and we were fighting through all these levels (dungeons?) of the house... then at one point there were all these Sentinels (The big robot kind from the X-Men) and I was Iron Man for some reason.
But after a lot of fighting we decided to look for Felicia Day - because we met Vork from The Guild who said she was there - so we could go on a raid with her.
Yeah, just thought I'd share.

As I posted on Facebook, I've been finishing video games lately before starting the next. I've finished Persona 4, Mass Effect (with the Completionist acheivement and DLC, w00t), and the new Prince of Persia. I just started Valkyria Chronicles and am enjoying the hell out of it. And I don't usually care for most strategy games, save for the C&C/Warcraft style... and even then it's pretty hit and miss.
I was without internet access for 3 weeks, as well - the rest of the time I've just been decompressing after work.
My job evolved again, now in addition to the data stewardship and occasional VBA programming/automation, I'm a PHP programmer and a SQL administrator. I do the job of, what, 3 people?
So, if you were one of the few that was enjoying my story, rejoice, because I'm working on it again. Currently, I'm re-outlining and will be starting the project over as a full novel - and may be sharing it somewhere as it's being written. Same concept as what I'm doing now, but unbound by Twitter's character limit.
I just really feel like this story deserves better than the unfair treatment it's been getting.

The fireworks at Stone Mountain were great. Worth the hour or two in stop and go traffic directly outside the lawn.
On the topic of the lawn, though - and this is for you, Greater Metro Atlanta area -
Your blanket is not that important. When people are tightly packed in one location, on blankets, with more blankets than ground available for foot traffic, people will step on your blankets.
I stepped on a tarp (with no one and nothing sitting on it) on the way down the hill. Slid a bit. Guy says, sarcastically, "You just go ahead and step on that. That's what it's there for," then goes on to mutter something under his breath. I simply apologized and continued my trek down the hill.
Would the correct response have been:
A. "I'm sorry, I didn't realize this was your good tarp."
B. "Oh, no, now you'll have nothing to pass on to your children!"
C. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to get dirt on the thing that you laid down on the ground in the dirt."
D. Give him the finger and move on down the hill.
E. Other
Your help in this matter would be appreciated.

In other news, OH SHIT BEARS.
Hung out with Matt Cruea yesterday, and it was fun.
But not quite as fun as bumper cars with Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore the day before. Sorry, Matt.

I like writing this guy. He's one bitter, angry, tortured son of a bitch... and I had no idea how much until he started talking... and now I can't shut him up.
Anyway, stuff other than writing. (Did I mention I'm writing again? Hell yeah!) I made a cheesecake for an impromptu potluck at work. With a day's notice.
But the cheesecake was friggin' awesome. Pure white chocolate coconut awesome. It disappeared very quickly, and was a topic of conversation for hours to follow. Yes, I'm proud of the awesome.
In other news, I got a new phone... which is shiny purple. Like, really purple.
Yeah, that one. And it rings "Ninjin Loves You Yeah!". Well, that doesn't come with the phone or anything.
I'm rambling, and now is time for sleep. I'm exhausted.
